So tired... Told my boss I never want to do that again. His only comment: "You survived!" Dude. There are lots of things that I've survived that I still never want to do again. At least the head of sales/business development realized what a Charlie Foxtrot that mess was and said we're not going to do this again.

Anyway, enough of that nonsense. The reason for the post is to goober on Kamen Rider OOO. Finally started watching it (no, of course I haven't finished W yet, that would be sensible), and have been having a lot of fun with it. It seems to be remembering the goofy that makes KR series so fun. Random bits remind me of previous series that I liked while still inventing something new. Eiji's wandering urge harkons back to Godai from Kuuga. The bunch of troopers at the beginning of the first episode reminds me of Zect's hordes of expendable troopers. (And I loved the vending machines turning into bikes. It was just so silly!) Ankh is a lot like the Imagins from Den'ou, and yet makes me giggle all on his own. And the octopi! Little vending machine cans turning into hordes of little octopi! So cute!

That said, there are still things that grate on my nerves. I suspect (or is that "hope"?) I'll never watch the opening credits again. The transformation gimmick is even more gimmicky than usual.

Still, I'm intrigued to see where this is going to go.

And now I go to sleep.
