Pierrefonds castle is very highly strange. And has hot air ballons flying past at dawn.

And so, according to the news clip I just saw, is the exhibit at Versaille. The odd, I mean, not the hot air balloons.

Alas, there was a lack of hot air balloon rides. The dragon had to do all its castle menacing from the air.

We saw the news about the Murakami exhibit just before we went to Versailles. One member of our group was horrified. Two members of our group thought it was wonderful in a really horrid sort of way. It was all plastic and happy and twee in the middle of sumptuous, conspicuous consumption. Ill see if any of my pictures turned out okay and post, just so everyone can experience the... experience.

Went to the Louvre today. Thought of you several times. I will confess that the word "hammer" was sometimes a part of those thoughts.

The exhibit at Versailles is the new one by Takahashi Murakami! He did a collab with LV and does sort of a flat type of pop-art.

I'm excited to go check it out later on this month!

Hope you're having fun. :D

I'm sitting in our Paris apartment with all the windows open and it's a lovely day out. There will be stories later. But not about the apartment. I hope.
