Surreal

A plane crashed across the street from my building at work today. I didn't see the crash, but ... surreal. I did see where the plane ended up (in a slough), and it seems almost impossible to me that it didn't hit any buildings. Many kudos are due the pilot for that. It sounds like mechanical failure, not pilot error.

On a semi-related note, good thing I don't have a fear of flying, or things would be really unpleasant for me getting on a plane in a little under six hours. Notheless, not something one wants to happen just before getting on a flight.
