Ridiculously stressful past couple of weeks. To those I owe contact with, I apologize. It has been ... difficult ... lately. I shall attempt to get my act together and get caught up tomorrow, though we shall see.

On the whining note, sheesh. I sleep late, catch a movie, take a walk around the block and that's enough to wipe me out completely!? Not good. Not good at all. I almost wish I could attribute it to illness or something, but it's all just being wiped out from stress, mostly work. This needs to stop.

On a less whinging note, I finally got to see the new Star Trek film. Very good, though for some reason I am left with the feeling of something that was excellently technically executed but somehow didn't fully engage me. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I don't have the energy to be emotionally involved with stuff right now? At any rate, hats off to a very well done film.

Zachary Quinto as Spock was a perfect casting choice -- though it did leave me always wanting to hide behind furniture every time Spock showed up. This was very confusing until I realized that it's the same actor as plays Sylar on Heroes.

Randomly, anyone know any sysadmins in the area who are looking for work? I'm looking for a minion (and have an open req for one.) I'll post more details later. Like when I'm not having trouble stringing words together coherently.
