Saturday: finished moving the wood pile, pruned all the foliage next to the fence. Created a huge pile of stuff to go in the recycling bin. Mom came over and helped me pull the arbors off the fence, as well as pruning the fruit trees. We stopped by Mervyn's and I picked up a nice cookware set for a big discount. (Bit of a splurge, but I figure it would be stupid not to take advantage of the sale.)
Sunday: Stayed in bed late finishing a book I'd been reading. (Eat, Pray, Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert - I recommend it.) Got up, reorganized the entry way, moved the printer, chopped up all the stuff that needed to go into the recycling bin, cleaned the ash out of the fireplace, and unloaded the dishwasher. Oh, and scanned the paperwork for the fence construction. I stopped short of rearranging the living room furniture since I've been moving constantly for about six hours now.
I skipped the gym both days even though I'd intended to go. Ah well, I think I burned the same amount of calories, just over a longer period of time.
