I Luffs My High School Dramas, I Dos.
Woke up this morning still feeling moderately ick, and decided that since a) I don't have anything that absolutely has to be done today and b) I do have things that I want to do the rest of the week, that the only logical thing to do was switch the alarm off (*), roll over, and go back to sleep. So I did. Four or five hours later I woke up again so I figured I made the right call (**). Particularly since the sore throat is gone, and the sinuses no longer feel completely filled with unpleasant ooze. The ears are still congested and I'm still having balance problems, but hopefully another good night's sleep will take that out.

Spent the rest of the day watching Isshun no Kaze ni Nare, which I'd been meaning to get around to since... uh, February? Man, I love these dramas. Formulaic as all out, but hey, I'll take it. The standard themes: following your dream, teamwork, if you work hard you achieve what you want. Always good things to hear. Easy on the eyes never hurts. I'm glad I watched it. It was nicely uplifting. I'd recommend watching it, but I don't think subs for it have been released yet, and I'm not volunteering.

And now I must figure out what I'm making for dinner tomorrow night. *digs out cookbooks*

(*) Yes, I'm still setting an alarm on weekdays. I need structure in my life, so I'm beginning to impose it, starting with waking up around 7. Behold, my sleeping in.

(**) I normally can't sleep past about 9 AM. About the only time I can sleep past 9 is when I'm not feeling well. Thus, sleeping until 11:30 tells me that sleeping more was needed.

They have free flu shots at Camino Medical Group now (the building across from Satsuma). I just got mine; I hope you can avoid more extreme ick.

Sleeping is one of the best things ever ♥

And just to roll in here with trivial info, the first part of Kaze ni Nare was subbed, while 2 - 4 are still being worked on. The team is taking their sweet time.

I think i could use a dose of that.
Did you ever get around to making that pumpkin pie, because i thought surely that would have cured you. On a slightly unrelated note, the pumpkin pecan pie is back at the cheesecake factory, and it's fabulous!

And yet, when I look at them, esp if they're too handsome, I start thinking arrogant SOB. Ah, lovely high school. That and we know they'll end up salarymen after they graduate. Makes me want to get the Ultraman Salaryman Heroes. Probably also why I'm much more interested in the ancient series.

Ah, the joys of them just being fictional characters on TV is that they get to exist purely in fantasy land. So you can pretend that they're every bit as genuine as they seem and never be proven otherwise. Best way to have it. :)
