Her name was Honey, and her owner cared for her the way one ought to care for one's honey -- even to the extent of nearly getting himself killed trying to save her. I'm glad my friend's all right, with only a life changing experience and minor bruising in the end. But I wish they could have saved Honey.

(Truth be told, I wish it never happened. But the cream puff of sucktidue has flown and there is no recalling it, and nothing is left but rage and thankfulness and... you just go on.)

Too many endings too fast. Be safe, all.

Ouch. I don't know what happened or who Honey was, but this sounds sad.

The important thing is he's alive; everything else can be recovered from. Tragedy happens: it's OK to be heartbroken, but he survived and life will go on.
