18 Shingon Headquarter Pilgrimage
For my reference.

Why do I not bookmark really useful pages more often? It would be really handy when trying to find really informative web sites on things that are not easy to google, like shingons. (No, not the Buddhist sect, the chants. Yes, that's less common than one would hope.)

Well, we've been making noises about doing the Shikoku pilgrimage for some time now... (though that one takes quite a while.) This particular pilgrimage isn't necessarily dedicated to Kobo Daishi specifically, just to Shingon Buddhism. But since he founded it, there are heavy ties.

This sounds *very* cool! Good find! :)
Re the google suggestion: Hm! Thanks for that, methinks I'll explore this more myself (as I ponder all the esoteric links I've been finding on Australian art, Aboriginal Australian art, Paleolithic, Neolithic and other Rock Art in Australia, and the connection between a Rock Art preservationist and scholar from Australia who is also working on a dig in India, all of which I (of course) want to go to! LOL!)
