What I Do For My Art
In doing some googling to see if it's supposed to be spelled "Schuwatch" or "Schwatch" (*), the first entry I find for "schuwatch" is titled "War Against Sexy Space Sluts". *SWEATDROP*

*goes back to debating if she's crazy/curious enough to click the link, or if sense will prevail and she will stay sanely away.

(*) If anyone more knowledgeable than me feels like weighing in with an opinion it would be appreciated. Save me from the sexy space sluts!!!

Not at ALL sexy. The title is merely the blog title, and it's a generic nostalgic ponderation on Heisei and Showa Ultras.

Ah ha ha. So it's about Ultras after all.

Just that one post - it seemed like a regular toku blog and I didn't go through much else.

Ah, I see. Yeah, sandpanther's LJ came up when I did a shuwatch search.

Oh yeah, and um...I personally go with 'Shoowatch'.

I've always seen Schwatch around the internet, but I'm not sure if that's official.

Hm. I don't know who populates the CD titles, but whoever did it for Ultraman Shudaika Vol 3 Disc 3 has a song entitled "14. [Ultraman Series] (IM) Shuwatch! ~Ashita e no Bouken~"

English Wikipedia has shuwatch or shoowatch.

Talking about being too tired to read something straight... I first read that as "War Against Sexy Space Suits" which does pretty much sum up the Ultra defence teams.

If this is for subbing purposes, I think we've left "Schuwatch" (however it's spelled) unsubbed? At least in the movie. Don't think it's come up in episodes.

It comes up in episode 28, with a character (not Ultraman) specifically saying it. In context, it only makes sense to sub it, unfortunately.

Ahh. Silly people speaking sound effects.

Now you mention it, we had to do the same with Sevens 'Dyuwah' or whatever it was didn't we.
