Dang, what's with all the earthquakes? We just got another mini-quake, pretty much the same time as the one the other night. Is this A Sign From Above that I really should get to bed on time or something?

Holy deja moo, Batman. Same magnitude as the one two nights ago, in roughly the same location at roughly the same time of day.

Since I realized that I'll be out of crack new Avatar episodes this weekend, and since I don't see any plans on Nickelodeon's part to air season 3 reruns, I've turned to the internet for a solution, and am now downloading S3 eps. If anyone else who's watching doesn't have episodes, I'd be happy to burn copies, or host a viewing party at some point.

UM manga series looks like it's going to have a new female Ultraman show up. Wonder if that's a sign for future series...? Anyway, just for my reference, it runs in Terebi-kun magazine, and is entitled ウルトラマンメビウス外伝 超銀河大戦 or "Ultraman Mebius Side Story, Giant Galactic Battle". (Yeah, really creative with the name there, I know.) Japanese Wiki lists some information on it. (Really should remember to check there every now and then.) Seems that the manga ties in with the Playmovie games and Ultra Fest 2007. Which is kind of intriguing, since my understanding is that the Playmovie games take place on Earth, and focus more on Captain Ryuu while the Ultra Fest stuff very much doesn't.

Also, they've announced a sequel to the Nagoya show from last year, running in the same time frame. The website doesn't list actors, and a quick hit on blogs shows no interesting announcements. Given that everything else is linking in on the same storyline, I assume this is going to be more of the same. All of which I'm assuming is a lead-in on the next movie.

For my later reading pleasure,

For my later reading pleasure, <a href"http://d.hatena.ne.jp/katoku99/20070513/p1">this site</a> seems to give a more detailed summary of last year's Nagoya show than the one I read before. And yeah, some day I'll get around to summarizing what I've found. Some day when I'm not digging through pages researching stuff when I really should be unconscious. :P
