I see I'm not the only one who names machinery after Ultras. *has an old SLR dubbed Hikari, a laptop called Noa, and a series of pendrives deemed Noa Aegis, Moebius, Aegis Reborn and Mitsurugi* XD

Heh. I'm typing this on Wilson (named for a sanity-preserving volleyball), and attached to him is Xion, who is a brain transplant for the comatose HAL-9000. And a few years back the three hard drives of my old tower were Melchior-1, Gaspar-2, and Balthazar-3. Yes, we are otaku.

Ooh, I hadn't thought of naming my thumbdrives.....

What's up sandpanther
Hey How's it going? There's not many of us online. How did you come up with Sandpanther for your username? I've been using it online since 1996, but I came up with it in 1991 during the 1st gulf war. Drop me a line back at sandpanther@yahoo.com

Re: What's up sandpanther
I got it out of the novelization of The Phantom Menace, where everything was compared to a sandpanther. I needed a name for IRC, and figured it would be entertaining to use "sandpanther". It just kind of stuck since then.
