Dear DirectTV,

This is the second time in as many weeks my signal has mysteriously dropped. Knock it off. I don't want to go back to cable, but I will if you force me. (Okay, the main reason I would go back to cable is so I could drop PacBell/AT&T -- but the only reason I haven't so far is I actually like you.) And what is your beef with Heros? You seem bound and determined to make me miss it. I thought it a generally inoffensive -- and fairly entertaining -- program. So keep your editorial outages to yourself in the future.

Annoying "customer service" representative who gave me a ton of BS about the system being unavailable and then hung up on me? Consider another profession. This one is not for you. Trust me on this.

Sandy U8889, you win the gold star for the day for getting my signal back literally seconds before Heros started.
