Microsoft = Grr
Having much trouble implementing code behind files for ASP.Net page. Am most not amused. Keep getting weird error messages like "sub 'ProcessRequest' cannot be declared 'Overrides' because it does not override a sub in a base class." This is followed by "'ProcessRequest' is not a member of 'myClassName'". So the sub that isn't in the class can't be overridden. Nice to know. Particularly since I have no "ProcessRequest" in any of my code. Must be Microsoft being confuzzled. *sigh*

I think the reason no one has translated this yet is because they hit the "spirit sperm" and fall over laughing. Other than that, it was a pretty decent read. I really liked the beginning chapter (which had no Naoe, hence no sex), but am somewhat miffed that in later context, it seems completely improbably to have happened. Oh well, I can cope with suspending disbelief for a bit of really nice writing.

Speaking of which, I notice the author's writing can be really darn good when she manages to keep a rein on the purple prose and just does really stark, flat writing. All of a sudden all the obnoxious language gets out of the way and what's left is a really stark, moving stored filled with more pathos than your average Greek tragedy. I wish she would write more like that.

Am most annoyed that the Japanese word aware looks like the English word "aware". There are too many times when aware comes closer to describing the feeling than "pathos" does.

*falls over with brain dead*

I would ask if you're kidding, but I have a deep fear that you did not make that up.
