Looks like there was an accident at an AutoX event at Marina. The starter let someone onto the course a little too early, resulting in one car t-boning the other. As far as I can tell this wasn't an SCCA event. The course apparently had two crossovers (how the heck do you fit two crossovers at Marina and manage to run more than one car on the course at a time??)
No one was hurt. One car was totaled, the other got ~8k of damage.
The moral of this story seems to be that unless you are the first car on the course for the day, watch as other people run and figure out where the other car should be before you start. Then don't start until the car on course reaches that point. Remember, you don't have to start when flagger waves you onto the course; your time doesn't start until you cross the timing beam.
