The Great LiveJournal
During the outage I wandered the city streets aimlessly pondering the meaning of life without LiveJournal.

Actually, I mostly missed the great LJ outage, since I was out of town for the relevant 24 hours. I got home around midnight on Saturday and while falling asleep was amused at how so many of my friends were acting like it was the end of the world, and like LJ would never come back. I had checked my mail before leaving on Friday, so I was highly entertained. Then I thought that it would be fun to blog that. But -- oh, wait, LJ is down! Argh! I fell into the great "my life is empty without LJ trap too.
Of course, by the time I woke up Sunday morning everything was fine. So really, I didn't see any LJ outage. I just stayed with a friend who has no DSL. (She is a sad, sad person who cannot wait to get this void in her life fixed.)
