Blurry...
Note to self: Always, always, always get the scratch protection coating on new pairs of glasses!!

I now have a large scratched/blurry area in my vision because my camera scratches my glasses. Grr. It took me a while to figure out why that one particular spot was getting so bad all of a sudden (and seemed to be getting worse.) On the bright side, it's been long enough since I last got new glasses that insurance should pay for most of it. And I have another pair that has an almost identical perscription that I can switch over to using for a while. But still, it's an inconvenience I'd rather not deal with right now.

ummm... *tilts her head left and right, staring at sandpanther's new icon*

Ummm... SP-sama... what is that?

It's a car. In a tree. Which is, happily, preventing said car from falling down an embankment. But everyone's ok, so it's not that bad. Rather like my life at the moment.

I'll post the full size copy of the picture when I get a chance. It's pretty impressive, though sadly the picture doesn't completely communicate the impressiveness of it all.

http://www.digitalrallyphotos.com/ <- have you seen these yet BTW? There's some shots of that green car coming up the hairpin. He was in fact one of only about two cars that got that right.

Ooh, no, I haven't seen that site. Nifty!

Hmm, I wonder when Laughlin rolled? In the photos from SS16 you can see the passenger side all bunged up. It wasn't messed up in SS13, though.

*sniff* I want to be able to take sequential shots! Must get new camera...

If I'm interpreting the thread correctly, I think Texas Guy rolled at some point. It's mentioned on the OT thread on NASIOC.

He definately did - it must have been after we saw him on the last stage though because I don't remember the car looking that bad - you should have seen it back at the Red Lion that night though! It looked pretty banged up.... (I have a pic of this somewhere).

Oh - it looked like he might be at Rim too - if you end up working and spot him go annoy him for me, would you? ^_~

I never did get a chance to go try and talk to him after you left - his car was there when I got in, but I didn't see him or anyone else with it until I was packing up for the airport and didn't have time to go chat. =/

I think he's going to be at Paris (god - that's 3 rallies in 2 months! I am so jealous!) though - so I will probably endeavor to go scare him then.

I think it got stepped on. Last I saw, it was in several pieces in the back seat of the car.

Oh, I forgot... I got the new issue of Sport Compact Car yesterday. They had an article on Sno*Drift. I looked at the car on the first page of the article and thought, hey! I know that car! I pulled up my pictures, and sure enough, it was the stuck in a tree car. Only in the picture it was still on the road and, um, less tree-hugging. ^_^

oh yeah - I'd heard they had one, but no where around here gets SCC for some reason.
