My Widdle Bwain

The Lovely Pitter-Patter Of Rain On -- OH CRAP!!

I'm listening to the beautiful sound of rain lashing the roof and windows -- and the steady drip, drip, drip of the roof leaking.

We've had a leak in the roof as long as I've lived here, but we've declared a corner of the living room unusable, dedicated a large laundry basket to the cause of catching the leak. Recently some roofers came in and did something to try and fix it. Well, whatever they did seems to have done... something.

As I was lying on the couch, pondering consciousness, I noticed a dripping sound. I didn't think too much of it for a moment, since we already know that the primary leak was not fixed. Slowly it penetrated through my sleepy brain that it sounded like the dripping was coming from the opposite side of the room. "That's odd," I thought. "The sound is reflecting around weird." Perplexed, I eventually decided to get up and investigate.

It's a good thing I did. Turns out that we have a new leak. Ah, what a joy.
