This link was pointed out by suzakugumi. On the one hand, I hate having a strong yen, just on general principle. On the other hand, it confirms that there is still a general perception that the US economy is weak, despite major indicators (and my own observation of personal indicators) to the contrary. I am sick enough that this makes me do a little happy dance, as I'm looking to buy a house sometime in the next year (yeah, I know I've been talking about it for over two years, but I really just need to take the plunge), and I like the idea of people still thinking the economy is soft. Hopefully it will scare off the other potential buyers.
I've got to be mentally unbalanced in the head if I actually enjoy doing armchair economics.
