For those who are curious about the good kind of insanity (engendered, alas, by the bad), Fresne's journal entry gives a good summation. (It left out the rather odd moment of a coworker rushing over to give us the great news that they've set a date for the 3D Star Wars so that she could for once join in the geekery. I hadn't realized our geekery was something to be aspired toward. Unfortunately for her, 3D Star Wars merely brought a "huh?" followed by a Google search, and extensive blinking rapidly in denial. Because while we may be those kind of geeks, we're certainly not that kind of geeks.)

And yes, she's not joking about the cuneiform. I'm not ashamed to admit that I shot it down. And added that we have to put the carrier pigeon transport methodology through a security review -- though I rather seriously doubt it will pass.

Yes, your geekery IS something to aspire to! Among geekery-ness it is a non-pariel...unless I've messed up and am actually writing about a type of confection.

I am particularly tasty with a nice ganache! ;) (I am messing with you.)

The new guy says I am officially the biggest geek he knows. I told him he needs to get out more, 'cause he ain't seen nothing yet.
